About Me

Kelsea Kenzy Sutton is a 2014 Sterling Honors Graduate from the University of South Dakota School of Law. Originally from Burke, South Dakota, Kelsea graduated from Burke High School and received her B.A. in English and History from the University of Colorado.

While in law school, Kelsea participated in the dual degree program, earning her History M.A. in August of 2014. She was a member of the South Dakota Law Review both as the Symposium Editor and as a published author. She was also an active member in several student organizations including the Domestic Violence Legal Program and the Public Interest Network.

Kelsea’s legal interests include antitrust, ag law, food policy and women’s advocacy. She plans to build a general practice that includes family law, criminal law and personal injury litigation. In addition to her work as a legal advocate, Kelsea enjoys managing the local farmers market and teaching yoga at the main street fitness center.
